Happy Valentine’s Day!
Our friends at Welcome.us invite everyone to make public commitments of love and support to our immigrant communities today as part of their #ToImmigrantsWithLove campaign!
You can participate by:
1. Printing out the attached postcard
2. Writing a note of encouragement and appreciation
3. Taking a photo with your note
4. Sharing it with the hashtag #ToImmigrantsWithLove on your social media accounts!
Lastly, don’t forget to share this widely in your own group of friends and family. For more information on this campaign, see the email below.
I wanted to make sure you’d heard about a special #ToImmigrantsWithLove Day of Action happening tomorrow, Valentine’s Day. #IAmAnImmigrant is partnering with Define American, hundreds of partner organizations, celebrities, and elected officials to show immigrants across the country that they are loved!
You can participate by writing a note of encouragement and appreciation and then sharing it on social media with the hashtag #ToImmigrantsWithLove. It can be a Facebook post, Instagram, or Tweet of a note, a photo of a handwritten letter, a short video, or other format that works for you. There’s a postcard template attached to this email that you can print and fill out as an easy way to get started.
Please join us in making public commitments of love and support to our immigrant communities and encouraging your networks to do the same.
I’ve attached a toolkit with additional suggestions along with the template postcard. There are some examples below, and please check out www.toimmigrantswithlove.com or #ToImmigrantsWithLove on social media to see what Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, Max Levchin, Russell Simmons, Constance Wu, and others are saying.
We greatly appreciate your time in helping spread love and support #ToImmigrantsWithLove tomorrow!
